World Travel Market (WTM), U.K.

WTM is an annual global business-to-business exhibition, bringing together worldwide buyers and suppliers from every sector of the industry. WTM provides the opportunity for the travel trade industry to meet, negotiate, conduct business and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in travel. The show attracts key industry contacts worldwide, with a high concentration of buyers from Europe and the Middle East. Visit California will also host a VIP event and luncheon. Delegates have the option of participating in both WTM and the VIP event with Visit California; choose WTM stand participation only; or VIP Event Only. A comprehensive market update of the UK/Ireland travel and tourism industry is provided for all delegates.

Background
In 2016 there were approximately 841,000 U.K. and Ireland visitors to California, making the U.K. and Ireland the second largest overseas market to California. As a top US destination, California showcases one of the largest stands in the Brand USA section. Approximately 20 delegates from California attend WTM every year on the California stand. Over 7,000 companies exhibit at WTM.
